Day in the Life of Lily!

As both a student and CEO/Founder, Lily Khosrowshahi’s days look a liiiitle bit different. Follow along for an average day in her life!

9:30 a.m.: Shortly after waking up, I get the courage to get out of bed and make my breakfast. My favorite way to start the day is with avocado toast and a cup of coffee- duh! After breakfast, I get ready to make sure I am at school (I go to George Washington University) before my classes start for the day.

11:00 a.m.: My first class of the day is my advanced tax course- an elective in the GW Business school that I chose to take to help me run ByLil! Being so close to graduating means all of my classes seem to go by so slow…can anyone else relate?? Thankfully this class seems to go by quickly and I can join a quick Zoom meeting to go over a group project for another class

1:00 p.m. : After school is done for the day, I begin working on any and all things ByLil! For the past few months, I have been working on a super exciting opportunity. Today, I sat down to work on a formal pitch and presentation related to this opportunity. I cherish any and all opportunities to develop ByLil and am so thankful that I get to do what I love.

2:00 pm: I made a quick lunch (dumplings- yum!) before getting ready to head to a ByLil photo shoot!

3:00 p.m.: I love photo shoot days because I always get to involve my friends and we have so much fun! For this shoot, we were capturing some of the pieces for our next and newest collection. Keep an eye out for these pictures on Instagram soooooon!

5:00 p.m.: With the photoshoot and school done for the day, I can finally go home and get some rest. Once I’m home, I’ll make a quick dinner and put on my favorite tv show, Euphoria.

The best part about being a student and a CEO is that I get to live the best of both worlds every day- and I look forward to it! Keep an eye out for ByLil’s new collection coming very soon!
